LBC Tank Terminals is proud to announce that its US operations have received the Safety Excellence Award from the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) at the 2026 ILTA Conference.
ILTA is a leading industry association representing companies in the liquid bulk storage sector, dedicated to advancing safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. Each year, ILTA evaluates its member companies through a comprehensive safety survey, recognizing those demonstrating outstanding performance.
LBC was recognized among top-performing companies based on both:
- Leading indicators, including safety programs, management systems, and proactive initiatives
- Lagging indicators, such as incident rates and occupational safety performance based on OSHA reporting
This recognition reflects LBC’s strong safety performance and its ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards across all operations.
The award was presented at the ILTA 2026 Conference, held in Houston on June 15, where representatives from several LBC US terminals accepted the recognition on behalf of the organization.
