On July 1, MOL President & CEO Jotaro Tamura visited LBC’s headquarters in Rotterdam for the first time since assuming his new role in April.
The visit provided an opportunity for LBC’s management team to introduce the company, share updates on its business and growth plans, and discuss future opportunities as part of the MOL Group. LBC was also pleased to congratulate Mr. Tamura on his appointment and welcome him to the company’s Rotterdam headquarters.
The visit was particularly meaningful as it took place almost exactly one year after MOL completed its acquisition of LBC on June 30, 2025. Over the past year, LBC and MOL have continued to strengthen collaboration across the Group, while building on LBC’s strong market position and expertise in liquid bulk storage. The anniversary offered a valuable moment to reflect on the progress made so far and to look ahead to future opportunities together.
As part of the visit, LBC also hosted a gathering of MOL Group management representatives from MOL Chemical Tankers, MOL Maritime Europe, and MOL Logistics, all based in the Netherlands. The session offered an opportunity to strengthen connections across the local MOL Group community, exchange perspectives, and explore ways to further enhance collaboration among Group companies operating in the Netherlands.
