As a Board Member, Godron supports the AEA in shaping and implementing its strategic direction. He is also actively involved in the AEA Safety Task Force, contributing to initiatives that promote the safe and responsible use of ammonia across the industry.

Godron’s motivation to join the AEA Board is closely linked to the role of independent tank storage within the ammonia value chain, a perspective he believes has been underrepresented:
“I observed that the independent tank storage segment of the supply chain was absent from this discussion. For this reason, I volunteered to represent our sector—ensuring our perspective is included and contributing to the broader common goal.”
By bringing the perspective of the independent tank storage sector into the dialogue, Godron helps strengthen alignment between production, logistics, and end-use applications, supporting a more integrated and resilient ammonia ecosystem.
