As in the previous year, a group of enthusiastic LBC Tank Terminals colleagues took part in the “Fietsen voor Sophia” charity cycling event, organised to support the Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital.
This unique event was held indoors, with hundreds of participants gathering in a large, vibrant hall filled with stationary bikes. Throughout the day, our team joined cycling activities, all taking place on indoor bikes. The atmosphere was energetic and inspiring, with colourful lighting and music creating a festive environment. Participants encouraged one another and shared stories, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and community spirit.
By cycling together in this impressive indoor setting, our colleagues demonstrated solidarity with children and families in need, helping to spread a message of hope and support for paediatric care. The event was not only about raising funds, but also about promoting health, collaboration, and social responsibility.
Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of our volunteers, LBC was able to contribute a total of €8,536 in donations this year.
We are proud of everyone who participated and grateful to all who supported the cause. LBC remains committed to making a positive impact in our community and looks forward to continuing these efforts in the future.
